Sedale Threatt, Jay-Z and Madonna

When I locked the front door last night, I took a look to the left and right down the sidewalk of our quiet block. All the lights were out. Everyone around us must’ve been in bed or reading by candlelight, or beneath another form of calm lighting around 10:30 p.m. As I locked the door and then reached for the key fob to lock the car door, I thought for a tick about potential threats out in the world, not that I worry about them much, but I know they’re out there.

Then my mind wandered and began to wonder about former NBA point guard Sedale Threatt.

So, I sat on the couch, picked up my laptop and Googled his name. Interesting facts about Threatt: he has 14 kids; his first wife left him for Dr. Dre; unsurprisingly he’s had trouble paying child support; he has two sons named Sedale Threatt Jr. Before Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. there was Sedale Threatt Jr. Jr.
