What the hell is going on here?

Let’s try to get this figured out. Spoiler: we’re not going to get this figured out.

To show how free they are, these two brought their guns to the capitol in Lansing.

Note: The troglodytes pictured represent such a small number of people in this country it isn’t even that big a deal, but they represent a bigger number of like-minded people and the way these people act is so non-thinking I can’t get over it.

Here are some thoughts on people who get dressed up in military gear to protest their state government’s attempt to keep people alive during a global pandemic.

They think that when a state government shuts down businesses—because a virus has killed tens of thousands of people in the last month—it’s an attack on their freedom. 👍

Freedom. Ahhhh, it’s a funny word. It’s more important than anything else to a number of Americans, yet they don’t seem to really understand what it means right now. Why would they? They don’t think about it. If freedom means getting coaxed by wealthy ringleaders to shout at people you’re told to shout at, then I’m in chains, baby.

What most people want is health. The ultimate lack of freedom is being confined to a hospital bed, alone, and then dying—that’s the end of one’s worldly freedom. Yet, some think that when tens of thousands of…
