Living on Uneven Ground

It’s gotten hard to reach across the divide between reality and Republicanism.

Choosing friends or maintaining relationships with anyone based on who they vote for isn’t great practice. In my life, I’ve tried not to do that. It’s felt pointless—especially when I know that the person they vote for doesn’t typically matter all that much.

Except when my co-workers, acquaintances, neighbors and family support the GOP today which is led by Donald Trump—who is the most intentionally destructive thing I’ve observed.
